Can I insert HTML code into my Learning Site?

While it is not possible to change the code of your Learning Site as such, it is possible to insert small blocks of HTML code into it.

If you would like to do that, simply follow the steps described in this guide.

 

Step 1: Click on the red “Turn editing on” button on your Site:

 

Step 2: In the section where you would like your code to be, click on “Add an activity” and then on “Flex box”:

 

Step 3: Here you can write any text that you would like to add to your Learning Site.

To add HTML code, click on the arrow at the beginning of the line and then on the “HTML” button:

 

Here you can write your own HTML code:

 

To preview it, simply click on the "HTML" button again to see what the result would look like.

Step 4: Once you are ready, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Save and return to learning site”:

 

You will then be taken back to your Learning Site and will see what the code looks like live.

We recommend that you first build your code on a test Site, so that when you insert it into your Learning Site, you can be sure that it looks good and works as intended.
