How do I create sections on my Learning Site?

If your Learning Site has a lot of content, we recommend that you divide your content into separate sections.

This way, your Site will be more organised and your Learners will be able to navigate it much smoother.

It will also create shortcuts in the Navigation Bar on the left to different parts of your Site:



If you would like to add sections to your Learning Site, simply follow the steps described in this guide.

 

Step 1: Click on the “Turn editing on” button on your Site:



Step 2: Click on “+ Add section” at the bottom of your Site:



A small window will pop up asking how many new sections you would like to add to your Learning Site.

Step 3: Select the desired number and click on “Add Section”:



You will see that a new section has now been added to your Learning Site:



Now you can start adding content to your new section.


Please note that your section needs to have content in order to appear in the Navigation Bar on the left.

If it is empty, your Learners will not see it and will not be able to access it.
