      This Onboarding course comprises 7 modules: 


    1. GET TO KNOW SMC

    Module 1 is an introduction to the SMC network and how we operate, SMC's vision, strategic roles, and thematic priorities.

    2. SMC CODE OF CONDUCT

    Module 2 introduces key ethical concerns that you, as a development or humanitarian actor, should think about. 


    3. HUMAN RIGHTS BASED APPROACH (hrba)

    Module 3 promotes knowledge about religious literacy and supports people working at the crossroads between faith-based and rights-based approaches. 


    4. MANAGING FINANCES WITH INTEGRITY

    Module 4 gives you a basic introduction to SMC's perspective on upholding financial integrity and important concepts regarding anti-corruption. 

    5. WORKING WITH CHANGE IN A RELIGIOUS WORLD

    Module 5 promotes knowledge about religious literacy. it's for people working at the crossroads between faith-based and rights-based approaches. 

    6. FORB FOR ALL

    Module 6 is an introduction to Freedom of  Religion or Belief (FORB  for short), ideal for staff training.


    7. PREVENTION OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE and harassment (PSEAH)

    Module 7 aims to raise awareness about how acts of sexual exploitation and abuse impact individuals and whole communities and what to do about it. Certificate by Kaya Connect.


    FOR WHOM?

    The course's three modules provide a valuable introduction to SMC for new staff in member and partner organizations. It covers roles ranging from project officers and financial staff to department heads and volunteers involved in projects funded by SMC.

    PRACTICAL INFORMATION

    You can work through the modules at your own        pace taking as much time as you need. 


    CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

    After completing all three modules, you can download a certificate of completion. 
    This is your proof that you have taken this course.
