Fabo Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the fabo.org website (the "Service"). Fabo.org is operated by the network initiative called “Fabo”  and is maintained by DanChurchAid (CVR 36980214), Meldahlsgade 3, 1613 Copenhagen, Denmark ("us", "we", or "our"). You can find a list of all members of the Fabo network initiative (“Fabo Members”) on fabo.org/llab/members.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service. The Terms of Use agreement has been created with the help of Terms of Use Generator.

Once registered, the platform is free to use and as a user of the platform you will not be charged anything for your use (unless specifically informed when registering for a learning site) or for being a user of the platform.

The platform is provided through the internet and you may need a suitable device and a stable internet connection to access the platform. You are solely responsible for costs of acquiring and maintaining such hardware and software.

When you create an account on fabo.org, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.

“User Content” means any and all information or content that a user submits to the Service. DanChurchAid nor the Fabo Members takes no responsibility for any User content uploaded or provided to the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to collect, provide, upload, transmit, display, or distribute any User Content (i) that violates any third-party right or any intellectual property or proprietary right; (ii) that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, tortious, threatening, harmful, invasive of another's privacy, vulgar, defamatory, false, intentionally misleading, trade libellous, pornographic, obscene, patently offensive, promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; (iii) that is harmful to minors in any way; or (iv) that is in violation of any law, regulation, or obligations or restrictions imposed by any third party.

In addition, you agree not to: (i) upload, transmit, or distribute to or through the Service any software intended to damage or alter a computer system or data; (ii) send through the Service unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of duplicative or unsolicited messages; (iii) use the Service to harvest, collect, gather or assemble information or data regarding other users without their consent; (iv) interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on servers or networks connected to the Service, or violate the regulations, policies or procedures of such networks; (v) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, whether through password mining or any other means; (vi) harass or interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the Service; or (vi) use software or automated agents or scripts to produce multiple accounts on the Service, or to generate automated searches, requests, or queries to the Service.

We reserve the right to review any User Content, and to investigate and/or take appropriate action against you in our sole discretion if you violate the provisions of these Terms or otherwise create liability for us or any other person. Such action may include removing or modifying your User Content, terminating your account and/or reporting you to law enforcement authorities.

Fabo.org is a platform for distribution of content provided by the Fabo Members (“Member Content”) and the Service thus contain content provided by Fabo Members.

Fabo Members are not under the control of DanChurchAid and DanChurchAid does not review, approve, monitor, endorse, warrant, or make any representations with respect to Member Content. You use all Member Content at your own risk, and should apply a suitable level of caution and discretion in doing so.

Each Fabo Member is solely responsible for any and all of its own Member Content.  Because we do not control Member Content, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any Member Content provided by a Fabo Member.  You agree that DanChurchAid will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as the result of any such interactions.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by DanChurchAid and/or the Fabo Members. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that DanChurchAid or the Fabo Members shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, DanChurchAid and the Fabo Members will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Service, including loss of data, even if the damage or loss is caused by the Service malfunctioning.

We may terminate and/or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply delete your user account.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by Danish law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
