The design phase includes analysis and designing the project -both of which inform each other. The analysis include tools like problem tree, stakeholder analysis, whereas the tools used in designing a project include: developing a Theory of Change (ToC), designing a results framework based on the ToC, detailed target group analysis, budgeting, risk assessment and designing the implementation strategy.
