1. Design phase: More helmets are worn by motorcycle passengers riding to garment factories in Cambodia.
The project's useful tools include the Theory of change as the overarching framework for the problem, which would improve the workers' livelihoods due to fewer traffic incidents. For the design phase, the results framework is useful for analyzing the specific situation and target groups using various steps: outcome, output, assumptions, and indicators and activities. The strategy will support the cooperation among the various stakeholders in the project. Risk assessment is also important to understand the concrete situation and possible challenges.
2. The desired change/impact: include fewer accidents for passengers on motorcycles.
3. Preconditions to how the desired change will be implemented include:
a. That motorcycle passengers are willing to wear helmets on motorcycles through awareness.
b. The motorcycle passengers are positive about the training courses and other learning materials, such as posters, long banners, billboards, and social media posts about the dangers of road crashes.
c. Enforcement by other duty bearers, such as factory management and local authorities, to encourage or force motorcycle passengers to wear helmets.
