Rights-holders:
* Peasant and indigenous communities. Characteristics: their means of production and agricultural knowledge are being destroyed by extractivism and industrial agriculture.
* Rural youth. Characteristics: They are forced to migrate to the cities due to lack of land and work in the countryside.
* Population at large: They are losing access to healthy and sustainable food.
Duty-bearers:
* National authorities, Ministry of Agriculture, local leaders: They have the duty to support people’s needs and food production, but they have been co-opted by industrial agricultural corporations, and they respond to the interests of extractivism.
* Landowners and corporations: They must respect the rights of rural communities to the land and to a healthy and sustainable lives.
Other relevant actors:
* Civil society actors such as NGOs supporting indigenous and peasant rights, and the rights of the general population to a healthy alimentation.
