As mentioned above, there are many types of partnerships. The following are the four main types:

 

1. Strategic alliances: partnerships between non-competing companies, in other words, those operating in different areas.

2. Cooperation: alliances between competitors that will reduce the risk to allied companies.

3.  Joint ventures: Two or more companies are formed to establish a new and independent project where they may have common points of interest in developing a particular type of business based on the development of the urgent market need and thus creating a very competitive advantage.

4. Buyer-supplier relationships: It is one of the most common partnerships to ensure that the company is continued to be supplied with resources and raw materials and ensures that suppliers sell their products.
