In the beginning, what do we mean by the target group? (Segment / customers)

The target group or customer is a group of individuals or organizations that share a range of interests, needs or other characteristics that your project aims to provide services and products to them. Each of these categories has a different value and is communicated through private channels as well.

 

The first step to research is to determine who your customers are. Your initial search should help you understand who your potential customer is and your search for customers can give you detailed information about them so you can determine how you will reach them. It will also highlight the most important characteristics of your customers, including:

 

1. Age group:

Which age groups will benefit from your product? Children, teenagers, young people or older? This is very important when determining how you will communicate with your customers.

2. Gender

Does this product serve both genders, or does it serve females, not males or vice versa?

3. Profession:

Does this product benefit customers working in a particular field such as engineers, students, teachers, painters or others?

4. Additional income they take:

This is necessary to determine the purchasing power of your products and whether the category targeted by the money to buy your products and also to the pricing of the product.

5. Place of residence:

Where customers live? Does the product serve the inhabitants of the city without villages? Do you think about distributing your product outside your country or just inside?

6. Entertainment activities in their spare time:

What kind of activities do your clients do in their free time and where do they go?
