Creativity definition:
Creativity is the ability to see things differently than others, to get things in a new way and to organize ideas and their appearance in a new, unfamiliar structure from elements that already exist. At business level, creativity is to produce something new whether it is a concrete idea or action through addition, change, recombination or connection to come up with something new that may provide a solution to a particular problem. As mentioned earlier, creativity is the most important qualities of entrepreneur which enables him to come up with new ideas and business and get competitive advantage.
Role of innovation in entrepreneurship:
1. Your imagination can shape any idea and turn it into reality. You can imagine that you get rich after suffering poverty, efficiency when you suffer inefficiency and growth where recession is spread.
2. By your ability to imagine the final result, you have control over any circumstance. If you want to realize any desire, idea or plan to be a mental image to achieve in your mind, and always imagine the reality of your desire; in this way it will be interfered into your mind and will turn it into reality.
3. Note what major companies have done when faced with difficult situations. By modifying ways that have succeeded, you may be able to deal effectively with your problem.
4. Use your imaginary faculties. Look for aspects of your work that can be improved, and do not be afraid to try new ways. You may experience setbacks, but by advancing your creative strengths your all endeavors can be realized.
5. By enhance competitive you can develop your creativity, which allow you to attract customers to your services or products.
Creativity Stages
Creativity passes through a number of stages:
1. Preparation: the stage of collecting information.
2. Incubation: represents information and synthesize it consciously or unconsciously.
3. Illumination: a sudden flash of creativity and beginning of it.
4. Verification and implementation.
How to get a creative thinking:
First: Fluency
Fluency is the ability to produce as many creative ideas as possible. This ability is measured by number of ideas an individual gives about a given subject in a fixed time compared to performance of peers.
Second: Flexibility
Flexibility is the ability to change the state of mind by changing the situation. It can be called "backward thinking", which is contrary to rigidity; i.e. adherence to position, opinion or intolerance.
Third: Originality
Originality is the uncommon production that no one has ever known. The idea is called originality if it is not under any common ideas and is featured. The person of original thought is that who is tired from using repetitive ideas and traditional solutions to problems.
Fourth: Sensitivity of Problems
The ability to recognize weakness, or shortcoming of an exciting situation. Creative person can see many problems in a situation. He is aware of shortcomings because as seeing the problem in unusual way. He is more sensible to the problem or the exciting situation than usual.
Fifth: Elaboration
This creative ability includes providing multiple details for limited objects and extending the idea of a summarized or detailed ambiguous topic.
Sixth: Maintaining Direction
It ensures that ability of individual to think about the problem for a long period of time until new solutions are found.
Innovation Concept
To something new that does not primarily exist, or mainly create something that is existed but in a completely new and different way from the old one,. It can also be defined as harnessing your mental abilities to think of things that do not exist at all.
Innovation Types
There are many types of innovation that can be addressed in the field of entrepreneurship, including but not limited to:
1. Progressive: It aims to develop existing systems by making them better and faster.
2. Process: Creation of a new production mechanism or a new delivery method.
3. Red Ocean: is based on inventing new ways to get a bigger share and opportunities from the current market.
4. Service: It creates a new set of services that will attract more customers.
5. Business Plan: Entrepreneurs are creating a new business idea, new product or service that has not been created before.
6. Blue Ocean: Unlike the red. It is based on creation of new markets that are not mainly existed.
7. Supply chain.
8. Customer-oriented: Directs the client to contribute to product development or production of a new product.
Difference between creativity and innovation
Creativity is a broad term under which innovation and invention are also embedded. Innovation is part of creativity. Creativity, on the other hand, does not require things that do not exist at all, but it is possible to work on developing what already exists. Innovation requires the creation of something new that never existed before. Therefore, every creative is innovator, and vice-versa.
