Call for Proposal - DCA Innovation Fund 2024
Dear colleagues in Country Offices and HQ,
Please share as relevant
I am pleased to announce the 7th
call for proposals of the DCA Innovation Fund.
Please find the guidelines DCA Innovation Fund Application Guidelines 2024.pdf (onedrive link - file also attached this email) and application form Application form DCA Innovation Fund 2024.pptx (onedrive link – file also attached this email) for this round of proposals. Please read the guidelines carefully if you are considering applying. As you will see from the guidelines the fund will this time only be able to provide one-year grants in 2024. This is due to a planned restructuring process to determine how DCA’s innovation fund will look from 2025 and onwards. The consultation process will involve COs and HQ to take learnings from the past years and identify the way forward for DCA in the innovation space.
The deadline for applications for the 7th call for proposals is the 17th of November 2023. The innovation task force will meet on the 30th of November to award next year’s innovation grants.
We will host a webinar on the 25th of October 2023 10:00 – 11:00 DK time to introduce the process and templates and answer any questions there may be. At the webinar we will present new ideas about how the innovation projects in 2024 will be part of an incubation programme to support the ongoing implementation of innovation projects. Those wishing to take part in this webinar should write to innovation@dca.dk and we will share links and details with those who wish to attend. Please also feel free to forward questions ahead of the webinar to innovation@dca.dk.
You are also welcome to check out previous innovation projects on DCA’s Innovation Hub on Fabo under “cases and inspiration” – Learning site: Innovation Hub (fabo.org) where tools and methodologies are available as open source for all in DCA.
This year’s innovation festival will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of November. Stay tuned for an exciting program focusing on learning and getting new ideas.
As always, do get in touch with us at any time through innovation@dca.dk if there is anything that you would like to discuss.
Looking forward to receiving all the great innovation ideas out there!
Best regards,
Christina Dahl Jensen
