Section outline

  • Welcome

    • With the purpose of protecting lives during and after war, Explosive Ordnance Risk Education, or EORE, is an essential part of risk reduction strategies. It is a potent tool that enables civilians to prevent danger by adopting safer behaviours.

Individuals can identify, avoid, and report any explosive ordnance dangers with the help of EORE, which provides one with the essential knowledge around the subject. Through various means, EORE initiatives enable people and communities to lessen the dangers they expose themselves and their loved ones to. EORE addresses casualty statistics, the type of contamination, and the processes that influence the behaviour of at-risk populations, as well as those that result in behavioural change.

In the following, you will find two courses created by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
