ABOVE ALL, LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY

This text emphasises the ongoing need to bridge divides and seek unity, especially in polarising matters, as a response to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 and the encouragement found in 1 Peter 4:8-10. The SMC – Faith in Development is a diverse network of churches and faith-based organisations working together in God’s mission, despite differences in views and approaches. Diversity within the network is seen as both a gift and a challenge, calling for respectful and Christlike conversations even when disagreements arise. This booklet encourages open dialogue on sensitive issues, aiming to foster mutual understanding and serve both spiritual and physical needs through shared commitment.
