Section outline

  • Welcome to Denmark!

This course is meant to help you with the planning and enjoyment of your trip to the beautiful Nordic city of Copenhagen. We will provide reliable resources that you can use to plan an itinerary, budget, accommodations, and to help set your expectations for your time in Denmark's Capital.

You can get started below by introducing yourself, your reason for visiting Denmark, and your expectations for your time in Copenhagen. Then you should review materials in preparation for our workshop next week at the library.

The goal of this course is to have a sense of community and shared goals in planning a trip to a place you have never been - something that you just cannot find searching the internet alone. Preparing in advance and bringing questions that the websites just aren't answering will help you get the most out of our time together on August 31st.

Below you can shortly introduce yourself to the others and share why are you travelling to Copenhagen and what you most want to learn about in this preparation course?

Lastly, if you have any questions or general feedback you can write it here!

  • Pre-Meeting Resources

The resources below should give you a strong sense of what to expect on your trip, but they may not answer all of your questions. Please take note of any questions you still have so our experienced facilitators can answer them when we meet on August 31st

    Other Resources:

Visit Denmark is a website with information on visiting Copenhagen and other destinations outside of the capital if you would like to explore further and have the time to do so.

Visit Copenhagen is a tourism guide specific to the city with lots of information on things to do, places to stay, food to enjoy, and other practical considerations.

The Copenhagen Card is an excellent city pass that offers much more than other similar concepts for other cities. All transportation is free with the card for its valid period and admission to 79 attractions is entirely free. The card also makes it easy to be as flexible as the Danish weather forecast!
