  • Where is international development cooperation headed

    A discussion of the trends that shape the future and our role as Danish civil society

    International development cooperation is undergoing significant changes and #ShiftThePower, decolonization, and feminist thinking shape the direction. Three bright minds will engage in the discussion, each sharing their perspectives on the trends that are shaping international development globally and how it affects the role and expectations for Danish civil society organisations.

    After discussing the broader trends we will hear perspectives on the role of civil society seen through a feminist lens and look at the potentials for civil society in achieving the SDGs. Further, we will explore how the #ShiftThePower agenda calls for a re-thinking of the role of North-based CSOs.
