How would we like civil society funding modalities to look in 10 years?
Workshop description
CISUs different funding mechanisms (Civil Society Fund, DERF, OpEn, CCAM) are all experiencing a lot of interest and thereby constraints of funds! This has fulled a discussion on how we best prioritise the funds. This discussion can easily become focused on technical issues. But the key question we (as civil society community) should ask ourselves: What is a progressive funding structure for the future. And the key agenda of 'shifting the power' and the role of partnerships in future funding mechanisms should play a key role in answering this question.
We would like to start this conversation among CISU members and in the civils society community as a whole, by asking the rhetorical question:
"How would CISU's support modalities look in 10 years if we are to live up to progressive agendas of 'shifting the power' and relevant north-south partnerships?"

We will kick start this conversation through three presentations:
- The CISU approach: How can focus on partnerships and 'projects' as the main means of support be relevant in 10 years?
- A Westafrican perspective: How should partnerships and support modalities look in 10 years in light of 'shifting the power'?
- The INGO perspective: How can radical lokalisation look in 10 years?
Target group
All uses of CISU's funding mechanisms.
