As we move towards an uncertain future in terms of COVID-19, many of our organisations and partners are embracing new ways of working and conducting trainings. To ease this transition to the 'new normal', Fabo is offering members an opportunity to share membership benefits with their partners (local, national and international). All Fabo members are welcome to invite their partner organisations to become Fabo Associates.
A Fabo Associate is a time-limited agreement between Fabo and a Fabo Member's partner.
HOW TO BECOME A FABO ASSOCIATE
The Fabo Member submits an application consisting of an application form and a short description of the collaboration between the Fabo Member and partner. Please note, due to the nature of our community and since our work is primarily concerned with learning activities, the Member and Associate applicant must have a specific learning project in mind at the time of application.
The application form consists of:
Section 1 - About the Fabo Member and nature of relationship between the member and partner
The name of the Fabo Member, contact person, contact information and other relevant details
Short description of the collaboration between the member and would-be associate.
Section 2 - About the Fabo Associate applicant and specific learning project
Name of the partner, contact person, contact information and other relevant details
Short description of the proposed learning activity or project
Acceptance of Fabo Terms and Conditions and Joint Controllership Arrangement by the Fabo Associate applicant.

Fabo Associates are welcome to book a 60-90 min session with a learning specialist from Fabo Learning Lab. Such sessions can, for example, be used for getting feedback on learning experience design or how to get started on a learning project. The team has a limited number of slots available weekly that can be booked by members and associates alike. Please note Fabo members have priority and the slots are booked on a first come, first served principle.
